** This list seems to have the duplicate of Shealtiel and Zerubbabel at more or less the time of the captivity. Shealtiel means I have asked God . Zerubbabel and Zorobabel mean descended of Babylon hence all are period names of the Captivity.

*** Wife of Heli is the sister of Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist and wife of Zacariah (high priest of the division of Abijah). By regulation she must have been a Levite and therefore Christ was descended from Levi as well as Judah. From the prophecies of Zechariah Christ was of David through Nathan and Levi through Shimei.
